Hello out there, As you may know, we had our final collection yesterday (30 April 2015) at Blackfriars. Well, I say collection but it was more like an event! We had the Royal British Legion there reporting and making a film, as well as the National Lottery representatives doing more or less the same thing. Our patron Vice-Admiral Sir Adrian Johns was also there to cheer us along. We adjourned to The Blackfriars Pub for lunch and a drink. We then went out into the garden area,

We held another collection at Bank underground station on Wednesday 22 April. It was another great day for the collectors, who took lots of lovely money for the charity. This was the penultimate collection before we travel to Holland on 2 May. Thursday 30 April will be our final collection before the trip. We'll be at Blackfriars underground station. Hello again, Fast Eddie reporting in with a news update. Well, my dear readers, don’t think for one moment because I have not posted on here for three weeks that nothing is happening! Far from it - at this moment in time it is all systems go. Since last we talked on 16 March, our gallant little band of collecting veterans have been into battle three times at Kings Cross, Victoria and Green Park stations, raising another £12,785. This makes a grand total so far this year of £4

On Thursday 5 March 2015, we held a lunch for 100 veterans and 20 or so guests, sponsors and friends at the North Cheam Sports and Social Club (NCSSC), courtesy of the Taxi Charity's good friend and sponsor, Tony Mallard. Veterans made their way to Morden underground station for about midday and from there they were picked by our London taxi drivers and ferried to the club at Cheam.
