WWII switchboard operator Marie Scott interviewed by ITV London, ITV Evening News and Channel 4 News

Marie Scott did interviews today with ITV News London, ITV Evening News and Channel 4 News.

The 92-year-old WWII switchboard operator, who has received the Legion of Honour, met with Helen Keenan, Paul Davies and Jon Snow in her south London home.

We love the photo from Marie’s first interview of the day, with Helen Keenan (above). You can see a photo montage of Taxi Charity trips on wall behind her.

Marie was brilliant and spoke eloquently and confidently throughout all three interviews. It was fascinating listening to her recounting her memories.

We look forward to spending time with Marie in Portsmouth over the next few days... Marie will visit Southwick House with the Taxi Charity and a group of veterans.
