Taxi Charity annual collectors' lunch held on Thames cruise boat

Yesterday, the Taxi Charity organised a lunch for its veteran collectors to say a heartfelt thanks for all the time and effort they put into raising money for the charity.

The veteran collectors managed to collect £112,000 for the charity last year. These wonderful gentlemen, most in their late eighties and early nineties, attended 27 collections at various stations around London in 2015 to raise funds for our veterans outings and trips.

The lunch, held on a Bateaux London Cruises boat, was attended by 60 people made up of veterans, their guests and Taxi Charity committee members. The charity also invited representatives from Save Our Black Taxis, who recently organised a sponsored walk around London to raise money for the Taxi Charity.

Here are a few photos from the lunch and we've posted a few more on our Flickr site.
