Guest blog: A few clips filmed during the Victory Party at the Chalke Valley History Festival

Here are a few clips filmed during the Victory Party at the Chalke Valley History Festival, attended by the Taxi Charity, who transported several WW2 veterans to the event in Wiltshire on 27 June 2015.

Music was provided by the Bombshell Belles and the wonderful London Swing Orchestra, with whom veteran Danny McCrudden sang a few numbers to the great delight of the crowd.

The video features dancing by, amongst others, veterans Bill Parr and Peter Kent, who seemed to find no end of ladies to dance with, and charity committee member ‘Fast Eddie’ Hillery and ‘Mrs Barking Bill’.
