Taxi Charity receives £5,000 donation thanks to beautiful greeting cards we send to veterans

The Taxi Charity relies entirely on the generosity of the public through donations and grants to continue our work.

Recently, we were incredibly grateful to receive a £5,000 donation from someone who wished to remain anonymous. They shared that their support was inspired by the beautiful cards regularly sent to our veterans, saying: “this might be the only post some of our veterans get.”

This simple but powerful gesture highlights just how important those cards are. They are more than just words on paper - they are a reminder to our veterans that they are not forgotten, that they are valued and that someone is thinking of them.

It’s kindness like this that enables us to keep doing what we do, and more importantly, makes a real difference to the lives of the veterans we support.
