I have just seen the very sad news of John King's passing and I wanted to send my sincere condolences and wanted to share a photo of John that I took back in 2024. I had the absolute pleasure of going to visit the British Normandy Memorial whilst the Taxi Charity was were there with some fabulous veterans. We go to Normandy every year for D-Day and our highlight is meeting veterans.

I have a veteran bear that I like to take with me and I asked John if he would have his picture taken with it. He found it hilarious but was so gracious and lovely, and I instantly fell in love with him.

The work you do in supporting the veterans is second to none. You all do an amazing job and if I lived in the South and not the North, I wouldn't hesitate to be asking you for a job. 😁

Keep up the amazing work and please pass on my sincere condolences to John's family.
