Approximately 20 of the Taxi Charity veterans, most of them collectors for the charity, have their photos included in an important work of art held at The National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

The National Memorial Arboretum’s new Remembrance Centre features an exhibition on Remembrance and what it means to us as individuals, as families and as a society.

The prime image, taken by artist Helen Marshall in the Merchant Navy Convoy Wood, is composed of more than 5,000 photographs and is over 4 metres wide.

Veterans Roy Cadman, Harry Bailey and George Parsons are included and we think there is a photo of a black cab in there too!
