Taxi Charity volunteers and veterans were invited to Castle Rock Brewery in Nottingham on 22 November for a tour of the brewery.
Castle Rock will be brewing a special edition of their Harvest Pale in support of our #backtothebeaches veterans trip to Normandy in June 2017.
As you can see from the photos, there was much interest in the brewing process, all explained by tour guide Tim Pollard (aka Robin Hood).
Needless to say, there was a fair amount of 'sampling' involved.
Tom and Harry got straight behind the bar when given the opportunity to start pouring for the gang. Lunch was kindly provided by Castle Rock.
Thank you to everyone at Castle Rock Brewery for giving our veterans such a wonderful day out.
Also a big thanks to East Midlands trains whose staff were great in the way they helped and treated the veterans.
