SAS veteran, Alec Borrie, was recently interviewed by History of War magazine about his involvement in the invasion of occupied France in 1944. Alec was one of a small number of
special forces soldiers, dropped deep into enemy territory, to disrupt enemy activity.
In the interview, Alec reveals how he survived dangerous guerrilla warfare in France and beyond, as part of the fledgling Special Air Service.
