For the second time, Grandad and I had the privilege of being part of a tradition that has been bringing joy to our veterans since 1948. The Taxi Charity for Military Veterans transports them to South Holmwood, where the village welcomes them with open arms before a trip to Worthing Pier for fish and chips, plenty of laughter and, of course, an ice cream. People often see the photographs, but they don't always see what they truly represent. They don't see the friendships that
