Lt Col (Retd) Tim Coles MBE
Taxi Charity Ambassador
Tim Coles was born in Kenya in 1955, educated at Wellington College, the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, commissioned into The Black Watch in 1974 and served for 36 years at regimental duty and in various staff appointments until retiring from the Army in 2010.
Between 2010 and 2025, as a Regional Director for the Army Benevolent Fund, covering London and latterly East Anglia, Tim was responsible for fundraising - an essential activity to ensure funds are available to distribute to the Army family for those in need and to support organisations looking after veterans like the Taxi Charity.
"It is an honour to be an ambassador for the Taxi Charity and I shall do whatever I can to add value and support its important work."
