Based in the Midlands, Ben is a battlefield historian and guide with a particular interest in the Second World War, specialising in Normandy, Commando Operations and the Battle of the Bulge.

Ben has been a friend of the charity for many years and was asked to become an advisor in September 2022.

​

He said, "It’s an honour to have been asked to join the Taxi Charity committee as an advisor. I look forward to supporting the charity, the chairman, the veterans and other volunteers. I  hope to play a role in the continued superb work that they have done for many years."

Away from history, he is a Moto GP fan.
