Dear Dick,
I just wanted to write and ask you to pass on my thanks to all those involved in yesterday's veteran's lunch in Cheam.
It really warms the heart to see you taxi drivers and how you are so caring and understanding of the veterans. I think you are all wonderful.

It's just sad for me to see my dad at these functions (David Kennedy) and how dementia has affected him. Only a couple of years ago he would have been the first up on the dance floor and the first to volunteer for anything going.
