2016 ushers in a few changes on the Taxi Charity committee. At our AGM in December, three new officers were installed onto the committee:
Frances Wyhowska
Many of you will have met Frances at recent events and collections, and through other connections she has within the taxi trade. We are sure Frances will provide a different and welcome voice on what, until now, has always been an all-male committee.
David Clegg
David is a working taxi driver and has been for many years. He has been connected to the Taxi Charity as a taxi driver on many Worthing trips, and more recently on the trips to Holland.
Gary Manklelow
Gary has been a taxi driver for many years and is a long time supporter of the charity. He is also currently the treasurer of the Albany Taxi Charity Fund.
Welcome aboard to all three.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the three committee officers who retired this year: Mick Calverwell, Reg Hay and Dave Hemsted.
To all three, the committee would like to express our thanks for all the work and time they have devoted to the charity. We wish them well in the future.
