Brian Heffernan, born in 1964, has been a London Taxi Driver since 1996.

Brian became a volunteer driver for the Taxi Charity in 2015, thanks to his good friend, Peter Waterfield, who he had volunteered with previously for a children's charity.

 

He is proud to have been serving as a Taxi Charity committee member since 2019, and became chairman in September 2022.

Brian feels that being part of the charity is a huge honour, and that spending time with the veterans is like being part of living history.

Outside of work, he is a father of three and has one beautiful granddaughter. He is a lover of most sports.

In 2019, Brian climbed Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the Taxi Charity.
